Diana, Practice Manager

Working in veterinary medicine is the only career I’ve ever wanted. As a kid I would set up my stuffed animals on lawn chairs, used as kennels and wrap their legs and tails with gauze bandages to heal their imaginary ailments. Later I started as a kennel worker in my Illinois hometown in 1992, worked through the ranks to become a licensed veterinary technician in 1998, then (gulp) veterinary practice owner and manager in 2004. I believe education and preventive health care is the best way to create and enjoy the incredible bonds we make with the creatures in our lives. It continues to be a privilege for me to play a part in nurturing that relationship.

Pam

My name is Pamela Coyle. I live in Tichigan, Wisconsin with my husband and three pugs. While I have always loved animals, my career with them started when I adopted two litter mates and took them for a training class. I enjoyed that training so much I thought, “What a fun thing to do, to learn to work with dogs.” I then enrolled at The Animal Behavior College. As part of my classes I was required to intern at a pet training facility. Eventually, I became a trainer at that facility and earned my CPDT-KA certification. Over the years I have managed a pet training, pet boarding, pet  grooming and doggie day care. I guess it is safe to say I truly enjoy working with dogs.

Andrea

I started working in the veterinary field in 2008 part-time in high school.  I went from cleaning kennels and scrubbing floors to assisting in rooms and helping the doctors with patients.  My family has never gone without having dogs, cats or birds in our home.  Being in the veterinary field has always been what I have wanted to do from day one!  In my free time I enjoy crocheting and going on adventures with my husband and two children.

I am new to this profession and started with AHUG in October 2017 after spending 30 years in the banking industry. I can truly say I believe I found my niche because I love coming to work every day and interacting with the animals and their owners. I have a Himalayan cat named Precious, a Golden Retriever named AJ, and a mini Aussie named Emma. I’ve lived in Union Grove for over 20 years with my husband Brian and I’m the proud mom to my twin son and Daughter. In my spare time I enjoy participating in 5K fun runs, scrapbooking, traveling and attending concerts.

All my life I have always known I wanted to work with animals. But it wasn't until 2011 that I decided to go back to school and become a Veterinary Nurse. After graduating in 2013, I moved from across the state to start my career. I've worked at specialty hospitals in surgery, cardiology and ER. I decided to go into general practice and eventually I found my home at AHUG. I am a proud "pet" of four Umbrella Cockatoos named; Star who is 40 years old, Annabelle who is 20, Shadow who is 16 and Eddie who is 13. I have a 12 year old Senegal named Mango and an eight year old Green Cheek Conure named Mr. Pickles. I also have two bunnies named Hunny Bunny and Bon Bon. In my spare time I enjoy crocheting, spending time with my adult kids and watching a good movie.
